Welcome to Alveley Primary School

My name is Mrs Dyche, and I am delighted to be your child’s class teacher this year. In our mixed Year 5 and 6 class, we are very lucky to be supported by Mrs Jones and Miss Ordidge.

Together, we’re here to guide, challenge and encourage your child through what promises to be a fantastic year of learning.

We’re diving straight into our first topic, "Vicious Vikings". A thrilling and action-packed unit where we’ll explore who the Vikings were, how they lived, and the impact they had on Britain. Through exciting lessons and creative activities, the children will uncover the real story behind the longboats and legends!

This is a really important and exciting year for the children. Year 6 will be working towards key milestones such as SATs and preparing for secondary school, while Year 5 will be developing greater independence and rising to new challenges. We’ll be encouraging all pupils to aim high, support one another, and make the most of every opportunity that comes their way.
