We believe that a lively curriculum leads to a love of learning. All class teachers will arrange to go on visits during the year or will invite visitors into school. In years 4, 5 and 6 children have the opportunity to go on a residential school visit. This is an essential team building exercise and is very worthwhile.
The governors do not wish any child to be disadvantaged through financial reasons; consequently contributions towards day trips are voluntary. If parents have difficulty in making a financial contribution they are advised to talk in confidence to the Headteacher. Visits for children in receipt of free school meals are subsidised by the school.
