Impact of expenditure 2016/2017
Sports Partnership funding provided children and staff with training and support in PE and games activities.
The profile of PE and sport was raised across the school and within the local community.
All staff benefited from quality CPD which in turn enhanced the quality of children’s PE lessons.
All children received skill development in gymnastics, athletics and invasion games.
More children were able to attend events due to transport provided by the school.
Play resources encouraged cooperative play at lunch and break time.
Gaps identified in PE resources were closed and value added by buying well made, long lasting kit.
Further develop the profile of PE and sport across the school and within the local community.
Renew gym equipment.
Employ a teacher who is a PE specialist.
Improve the playground environment, resurfacing an area for soft play.
