Friends of Alveley School

(Alveley Primary School PTA)

Welcome to The Friends of Alveley School webpage. As always, we shall be holding many varied and enjoyable social events across the school year to raise much needed funds for the school.

Why have a PTA at Alveley School?

The Friends of Alveley School are here for you, the parents, carers, teaching staff and most of all, the children. Our main aim is to raise funds to purchase items that would otherwise fall out of the school’s budget.

Who are Friends of Alveley School?

We are a group of volunteers who meet up regularly for a friendly chat. We plan, organise, and advertise fundraising events.

Our current committee consists of:

School liaison:

Sarah Graham

Yvonne Matthews

Katy Nixon

Miss Coleman

Other Members:

Helen Watkins

Jo Foster

Garry Matthews

Sally Anne Jennings

Mike Nixon

Charlotte Wheldon

Hannah Pabla

Julie Farrar

We have regular committee meetings to catch up and discuss ideas where everyone is welcome. If you think you can help in any way we would love to hear from you – speak to any of our current committee members, leave a message with the school or find us on Facebook

Fundraising events

The more people that turn up to our events the better! Fundraising events are a great way of bringing the community and school together for such a worthy cause so please bring along family and friends. Remember the more money we raise – the more money that will go back into the school!

For details of our upcoming events check out our Facebook page.

Amazon Smile

If you shop with Amazon please consider using AmazonSmile. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your AmazonSmile purchases to the FOAS:

Do you know of anyone or any businesses who would be willing to make donations of raffle prizes, Gift Vouchers or Bingo prizes? We are always grateful to our sponsors and ensure that we write to them following an event notifying them of just how successful the fundraiser has been due to their generosity.

“The FOAS are proud to work in partnership with Alveley Primary School to make a difference to every child.”
