We would like to update you on what is happening in school in December.
On Monday 4th December, we will be walking year’s 1 - 6 children up to church to have a final rehearsal of the Nativity concert. We will be leaving school at approx. 1.15pm and returning for the end of the school day.
Then on Tuesday 12th December we will again walk the children up to the church ready for the performance to start at 2pm. Any Parents, Family & Carers, if you can be at the church and seated ready before 2pm that would be very helpful. At the end of the performance you will be able to take your child directly from the church. All other children will be taken back to school where they will be collected as normal. The FOAs will also be at the church selling hot & cold refreshments. Could you please fill in the form overleaf giving permission for your child to walk to church.
On Thursday 7th December EYFS will be performing ‘A king is born’. The performance will start at 10.00am in the school hall.
On Monday 11th December, we have the ‘West End in Schools’ performing Aladdin, payment for this is due by Friday 1st December.
The school Christmas Dinner is on Wednesday13th December and will be at the normal dinnertime. If you have not already paid, please pay on or before the day. Please remember, KS1 children do not pay for their meals.
Also on Wednesday afternoon, we have The Alveley Singers in performing Christmas carols.
Class Christmas parties are on Thursday 14th December in the afternoon. Party clothes can be brought in and changed into after lunchtime. Please can party food be brought into school on the morning of the parties. No food that contains nuts please! School will be providing squash.
Friday 15th December is Christmas Jumper Day – Please pay £1.00 donation to help support Teenage cancer trust and Rupert’s revenge. It is also the last day of term ready for the Christmas Holidays, we are back on Wednesday 3th January 2017.
